LEAF’s work is grounded in the belief that all stakeholders—particularly vulnerable and marginalised communities—must have a meaningful voice in environmental and developmental decision-making.

Through workshops, rights training programmes and focus group discussions, Living Earth Foundation or LEAF helps communities understand their rights under environmental law, in order to protect the ecological resources and commons that they depend on.

It is also LEAF’s goal to advance environmental and climate literacy through campaigns, public engagement, and creative advocacy

Communities directly impacted by mega-infrastructure and development projects, concerned citizens, environmental defenders, and civil society crusaders.
